Golf Season is here, it's time to get out to
enjoy the weather and play some golf!
On behalf of Second Chance Center, we would like to personally invite you to participate in our inaugural Second Chance Center Golf Classic-Charity Golf Tournament to be held at Murphy Creek Golf Course in Aurora, CO on September 2, 2021.

Second Chance Center, Inc. (SCC) was founded in 2012 by Hassan Latif who had been released from the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) in 2006 and vowed he was never going back! During his 18 years of incarceration, and later as he began working in the re-entry field, Hassan was keenly aware of the repeating cycle of recidivism, even among those few who had access to family support, employment, and case management. Fueled by hope and a passion to forge change, Hassan launched Second Chance Center with nothing but a car and a box of files on the back seat. Today, SCC is the largest, most effective re-entry program in Colorado, with a staff of 41 people operating out of two facilities in Denver, Adams and Arapahoe counties. In FY 20/21, we had a recidivism rate under 10% compared to 49% statewide. SCC works in what is known as the Colorado model in unprecedented collaboration with public policy and advocacy organizations, legislative bodies, and correctional leaders to reshape the attitudinal, legal, and funding landscape for those in re-entry.
This year, the18-hole shotgun tournament will start at 8:30 AM, with registration, the driving range and putting green open promptly at 7:00AM. Each attendee will receive a welcome bag full of special gifts upon registering, and lite breakfast to get your day started. we will distribute prizes at the Awards Luncheon following the tournament, where you will have a prime time to network.
