SCC offers case management, mentoring, and vital resources to assist formerly incarcerated individuals in reestablishing their lives and becoming successful members of the community.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

"Where ever I go in the city, I'm talking about Second Chance Center and what they've done for me, and I see how it's changed other people's lives as well.

After serving so many years in prison you have to find a place where you're a part of a nucleus, I found it right here. These are my people, this is my family."

—  Norman P., SCC client

CHANGING THE SYSTEM

In addition to being a resource for the formerly incarcerated, Second Chance Center is committed to systematic prison reform and advocacy.

We will continue to champion criminal justice reform and the rights of those affected as part of our goal to reverse the negative impact of incarceration on communities.

Learn more about integral reform legislation that we have helped push through.

"When you can't control what's happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond to what's happening. That's where your power is."
