Second Chance Center, Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to assisting formerly incarcerated men and women transition to lives of success and fulfillment. Our counseling and mentoring programs are people intensive where our staff works directly with these individuals one-on-one, and in group settings. Our organization does not assess any charges to our clients for services. As a result, Second Chance Center operations are reliant on the generosity of individuals and other agencies to fund operating expenses, and to help us in sustaining and creating programs that make differences in the lives of our clients, their families, and communities.
Your contributions are applied in the following ways:
General operating expenses including rent & supplies.
Fund counseling and mentoring programs for clientele.
Transportation passes to our clients so they may get to and from work. This basic expense is necessary in our clients’ life transition, and certainty of reliable transportation is very important to job stability and parole compliance.
